My Story, and Yours

Dear Intentionista,

Are we kindred spirits? Do you have a desire to live a more mindful, holistic life? Do you crave more time and space, beauty and order in your days, but feel overwhelmed where to start? Or maybe you feel like sometimes you snatch at a bit of it for a moment before it all falls apart again? Sweet friend, you are not alone.

Is it your kitchen? Your closet? Your kid’s toys? Maybe you need some help prioritizing what to keep and what to let go, but you have systems that already serve you really well, I still want to help you! But maybe you just feel completely overwhelmed and you haven’t the foggiest idea of where to begin, first of all :hugs: you’re doing great sweetie! Second of all, don’t lose hope!

It wasn’t until I got married to an amazing man whose brain just automatically did all the things without needing an external system in place to make it happen, that I realized that not everyone's life ran on systems.

I’m ADHD, and I grew up in a home full of lots of neurodivergence*, and my mom’s solution was to implement systems. SO many systems! Dots on socks. Color coding everything. Charts for chores. Timers. Clocks. This was always my normal and I never questioned it. And it gave me so many of the tools that I needed to function well in life.

Every person and home and closet is unique, and I don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” approaches to personal style or home organization. I want to help you unlock the systems that will work for you and your home in a way that is actually sustainable and supports what matters most to you!

If any of this sounds like something you are interested in, and you’re ready to jump in, I hope you’ll visit the services page, where I have a few free downloads available to help you begin! And if you decide you want some more one on one help, I’m here for that too! If you’re nearby, I can come over and help you in person, if you’re further away, that’s what the internet is for! You’ve got this!

Wishing you lots of ease,

Chelsea

*Neurodivergence: A fancy umbrella term for brains wired a little outside of what is considered “normal”.
